Service Description
A five-hour introduction to responsible handgun handling. Learn pistol and revolver parts, action types and operation, ammunition basics, shooting fundamentals, safe malfunction handling, and pistol selection and maintenance. No previous experience is required. Maximum 12 students. Ages 7 and older; a parent or legal guardian must also enroll and take the course with any minor. Certification details will be confirmed before registration opens. Training location: NRA facility, 11250 Waples Mill Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030 (indoor range). Included: eye and hearing protection, class materials, pistol and targets. Ammunition and range fees are additional. Bring photo ID, snacks and water, notepad and pen, and a payment method. Wear a high-collared shirt, long pants and closed-toe shoes. Your own pistol and suitable ammunition are optional; no steel-core ammunition. January 2027 dates and prices are pending. Registration is not yet open. Full upfront payment through Wix will be required once registration opens.

Cancellation Policy
Registration closes 24 hours before class. To reschedule, call 540-216-1938 at least 24 hours before class. To cancel and receive a refund, call at least 72 hours before class. Cancellations less than 72 hours before class are non-refundable. A no-show without notice receives no refund or credit and must pay again to book another class. If SNAFU cancels a class, every student will be emailed and called, with a voicemail left; rescheduling or a refund will be offered.
